This rustic scene could easily be in the Alps, the Pyrenees or the Rocky mountains, but wherever isn't important, the beauty of it all is. There is (was) one problem, however; those two patches of light in the center and left of the mountain. At first I just thought it was an incorrect focus of the picture (too many highlights), but when I adjusted it all the way to black and white- both were still there. After considerable adjustment (and compromise) I like this result the best and hope you do as well. After looking at the picture for quite some time, I was reminded of how the Modern Literal translation translates Matthew 5:14 and wondered how some different translations handle this verse?
Matthew Chapter 5 (Modern Literal version)
5:14 You* are the light of the world. A city laying upon a mountain is not able to be hid.

Now, normally I use the World English Bible, but the word "mountain" more accurately reflects the original language rather than the WEB or ASV translation "hill". And besides- mountain provides more emphasis and imagery, anyway!!!
About this time, you are probably thinking how picky I am- but consider... What if it was you instead of those strikingly white patches of cloud in that picture?
Would your garments be white like Jesus' were in Matthew 17:2? Would MINE?
To put it another way- Is my life like Jesus'???
Wow, a thought about clouds in a mountain in "the cloud". Isn't technology ironic????
