More than ideology by Gary Rose

I have mixed feelings about this picture. Although what it says is true, it just doesn't go far enough.
Consider...

Murder is wrong!

Deuteronomy, Chapter 20 (World English Bible)
 13  “You shall not murder.
Many of us will probably recognize this verse from Deuteronomy as being one of the ten commandments. And, if we think about it a little (a very little) we will probably agree the to kill someone is wrong. To deliberately kill someone is intentionally is without a doubt is murder. And yet, how can any ideology  even suggest such a thing?  What can possibly be wrong with someone that they could do such heinous acts?

A Godly heart?

Matthew, Chapter 15 (WEB)
1 Then Pharisees and scribes came to Jesus from Jerusalem, saying,
2 “Why do your disciples disobey the tradition of the elders? For they don’t wash their hands when they eat bread.”

3  He answered them, “Why do you also disobey the commandment of God because of your tradition?
4  For God commanded, ‘Honor your father and your mother,’  and, ‘He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him be put to death.’
5  But you say, ‘Whoever may tell his father or his mother, “Whatever help you might otherwise have gotten from me is a gift devoted to God,”
6  he shall not honor his father or mother.’ You have made the commandment of God void because of your tradition.
7  You hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying,

8  ‘These people draw near to me with their mouth,

and honor me with their lips;
but their heart is far from me.

9  And in vain do they worship me,

teaching as doctrine rules made by men.’”

10  He summoned the multitude, and said to them, “Hear, and understand.
11  That which enters into the mouth doesn’t defile the man; but that which proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the man.”

12  Then the disciples came, and said to him, “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended, when they heard this saying?”

13  But he answered, “Every plant which my heavenly Father didn’t plant will be uprooted.
14  Leave them alone. They are blind guides of the blind. If the blind guide the blind, both will fall into a pit.”

15  Peter answered him, “Explain the parable to us.”

16  So Jesus said, “Do you also still not understand?
17  Don’t you understand that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the belly, and then out of the body?
18  But the things which proceed out of the mouth come out of the heart, and they defile the man.
  19
For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual sins, thefts, false testimony, and blasphemies. (emphasis added)
20  These are the things which defile the man; but to eat with unwashed hands doesn’t defile the man.”

The faithful Jew would try to obey every commandment of God, but would obey the "traditions" as well. But those traditions made God's word null and void. Jesus rebuked them for it and their hatred towards Jesus is more and more obvious towards the end of each Gospel account. Jesus plainly says that the heart is the source of their sin.  I can't help but think that the perpetrators of the murder in the picture have a heart problem as well; for it is a matter of common human decency not to murder another human being!!!

With or without the Law...

 Romans, Chapter 2 (WEB)
10  But glory, honor, and peace go to every man who works good, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
11 For there is no partiality with God.
12 For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without the law. As many as have sinned under the law will be judged by the law.
13 For it isn’t the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law will be justified
14 (for when Gentiles who don’t have the law do by nature the things of the law, these, not having the law, are a law to themselves,
15 in that they show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience testifying with them, and their thoughts among themselves accusing or else excusing them)
(emphasis added)
16 in the day when God will judge the secrets of men, according to my Good News, by Jesus Christ.

Combining all of the above, any decent human being would not murder another because their heart would forbid them from doing such an evil thing. The common sense that every human being has would prevent such an evil. So, the question remains: How could someone do these things??

Like father like son...

John, Chapter 8 (WEB)

Jesus said to them, “If you were Abraham’s children, you would do the works of Abraham.
40  But now you seek to kill me, a man who has told you the truth, which I heard from God. Abraham didn’t do this.
41  You do the works of your father.” (emphasis added)

They said to him, “We were not born of sexual immorality. We have one Father, God.”

42  Therefore Jesus said to them, “If God were your father, you would love me, for I came out and have come from God. For I haven’t come of myself, but he sent me.
43  Why don’t you understand my speech? Because you can’t hear my word.
44  You are of your father, the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and doesn’t stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks on his own; for he is a liar, and its father. (emphasis added)

The answer is quite straightforward: Those who murder are like their father, the devil. Do not follow the religion of Islam which allows you to murder. Read your Bible, follow the teachings of Jesus and live!!!
