This picture is bogus. Donald J. Trump was never portrayed like this on the cover of Time magazine. When I first looked at it, I wondered if it really could be true, so I researched it and found out that our president’s son, Donald Trump Jr., posted this on twitter ( and caused quite a reaction to the posting ). If you would like to read the article I found, use the internet link under the picture. Anyway, this picture is a testimony from a son to his father and shows his love and respect toward him. I happen to agree with Donald Trump Jr., but that is a topic for another post.
As I continued to think about the concept of Testimony, I remembered the words of John, that beloved disciple of Jesus, who said…
1 John 5 ( World English Bible )
11 The testimony is this, that God gave to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12 He who has the Son has the life. He who doesn’t have God’s Son doesn’t have the life.
13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.
John’s testimony is of Jesus is true. Everything the Bible says about Jesus is also true, whether or not anyone will accept it. John is but one man, but over 500 people were witnesses of the post-resurrection Jesus.
Donald J. Trump is a great man, a hard working, determined leader. The superman label is an exaggeration, but not by much ( because he gives the impression of working 24 – 7). When you compare Donald J. Trump to Jesus, it is easy to see that Jesus was in fact a real superhuman, because only he can save us from our sins.
The only thing left to say is this:
Will you accept the testimony of John or not?
