Why? The beginning of understanding begins with a question; the expression of intelligence in its purest form. Do you remember the first thing you thought about; probably not. Like most things in life, questions have a pattern to them. "Where do I come from", "Why am I here", "Is that right" and "What happens to me when I die" describe four general patterns of thought that we all experience. These questions express the four general stages of reflection: Origin, purpose, morality and destiny. If the answers are found in human creativity, then they will naturally be flawed. BUT, if found in God, their perfection will be a reflection of the perfectness of the Almighty.
Something to ponder....

A change in plan
If you are reading this, then you are at the New Bible Reflections blog. I am changing the format (and the name) of the old site to reflect a new goal; that is, to delve into topics of interest to myself. I may just begin by typing in a few term papers from Northeast School of Biblical Studies, or it may be something else, I am not sure at the moment.
What I would like to do is to present something a bit more serious than the old blog did. Unlike its predecessor, this new effort will be more systematic and attempt to handle one topic at a time. Because of this, there will be substantially fewer posts, probably 1 or 2 a month.
Any thoughts or suggestions anyone might have would be appreciated.
Thanks
Gary
