These three pictures were recently taken by my granddaughter Elizabeth,
after a fierce storm. If you look closely at the top one, you will
notice a second rainbow (which is something you don't see every day).
The second one was taken later on in the day and the final one at the
close of day. How things changed in just a few short hours!!! From a
terrifying storm (which made my older poodle Buddy shake uncontrollably
in fear) to the golden cloud at the beginning of dusk, the weather can
change. And if weather can, so can our lives. I may be a bit paranoid,
but frankly I think the current administration in Washington is trying
to manipulate events so that martial law will have to be proclaimed.
Following this, will be the eventual coup and the establishment of a
Marxist state after the model of Russia. Within the span of just a few
years, Christianity will be outlawed in the U.S.A. (United Socialist
America) and in its place only the Muslim religion tolerated. Sounds
pessimistic doesn't it? But, wait; if God could topple the might Roman
state, then can HE not control the situation in this land? I think you
already know my answer to this question!!! What then? Well, read on...
Revelation, chapter 21
1 I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth have passed away, and the sea is no more. 2 I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband. 3 I
heard a loud voice out of heaven saying, “Behold, God’s dwelling is
with people, and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people,
and God himself will be with them as their God. 4 He
will wipe away from them every tear from their eyes. Death will be no
more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more.
The first things have passed away.”
5 He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” He said, “Write, for these words of God are faithful and true.” 6 He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give freely to him who is thirsty from the spring of the water of life. 7 He who overcomes, I will give him these things. I will be his God, and he will be my son.

The last few chapters of Revelation will be fulfilled and the world will
change. I honestly think the scenario I mentioned WILL HAPPEN and that
the end of this situation will culminate in the fulfilling of the
Revelation passage. You may or may not agree with me, that is fine; its
just my opinion. I suppose I could be wrong about the events, but NOT
ABOUT THE PASSAGE- IT WILL HAPPEN. And I like to think it will be like
the series of photographs above. First the storm, then the promise
visualized and finally the close of the age. But, HEY, that is just
me!!! Just something to think about on a beautiful fall afternoon.
PS. OH, I forgot- Just in case I am right about all this... Are YOU READY TO MEET JESUS????
