John, Chapter 1 (World English Bible)
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made through him. Without him was not anything made that has been made.
4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men.

For some reason, I awoke thinking about
Klingon. I don't speak or read it and not really a fan of it, for its
sound is a bit too guttural for me. Personally, I prefer Elvish because
of the sheer beauty of the sound and flowing nature of the script.
Coincidentally, this weekend I was
installing Bible time (a Bible study program for my Ubuntu computer) and
accidentally installed Klingon (see above). And this morning on
facebook, I saw this article and the title so intrigued me that I read
it; and read it again!!
To what end is all this? Well, some
people in this world want to have a universal language (Esperanto is the
best implementation of a made-up language that is actually spoken).
Why? Well, again, lets go back to the Scriptures...
Genesis, Chapter 11 (WEB)
1 The whole earth was of one language and of one speech.
2 As they traveled east, they found a plain in the land of Shinar, and they lived there.
3 They said one to another, “Come, let’s make bricks, and burn them thoroughly.” They had brick for stone, and they used tar for mortar.
4 They said, “Come, let’s build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top reaches to the sky, and let’s make ourselves a name, lest we be scattered abroad on the surface of the whole earth.”
5 Yahweh came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men built.
6 Yahweh said, “Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language, and this is what they begin to do. Now nothing will be withheld from them, which they intend to do.
7 Come, let’s go down, and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.” (emp. added GDR)
8 So Yahweh scattered them abroad from there on the surface of all the earth. They stopped building the city.
9 Therefore its name was called Babel, because there Yahweh confused the language of all the earth. From there, Yahweh scattered them abroad on the surface of all the earth.

We have multiple languages on this earth
because God wants it this way. Why? I think because of the nature of
human beings to want to have absolute power- even that which (in their
own eyes) is a match for God.
Humm, it seems to me that Satan thinks that way, doesn't he?
God, and God alone is the source of all things and it is in HIM that we must emulate and glorify- NOT OURSELVES!!!
So, having said all this, I refer you once again to John Chapter 1 and the true and only God above all (so called) gods!!! And, I hope you read it in English!!!
