Well, it started; that end of the year round-up. A time when we pause
for reflection about the current year; things good and not-so-good!! For
Christians, reflection is nothing new, for each and every Lord's Day
(Sunday) we consider the sacrifice of Jesus for us. And then there is
this passage from Paul's second letter to the Corinthians...
2 Corinthians, Chapter 6 (World English Bible)
1 Working together, we entreat also that you do not receive the grace of God in vain, 2 for he says,
“At an acceptable time I listened to you.
In a day of salvation I helped you.”
Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation.
“At an acceptable time I listened to you.
In a day of salvation I helped you.”
Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation.
Remember
what God has done for you, consider how great was the cost and how
marvelous it truly is to be a Christian. We live with Christ on a NOW
basis and will do so forever. Be faithful, be true, be consistent- God
will bless you for it!!! And the blessing of TODAY is that it is still a
day of salvation!!!
