Murphy’s Law is true sometimes; at other times, no. Personally, I think the truth of the “Law” depends on the number of variables involved and the interdependency of them. In other words… if whatever the project, topic or "whatever" is complex- there is a good chance something will go wrong!
The more I think about it, Murphy’s Law is irrelevant. It is simply founded on a wrong concept. The following passages from the Bible led me to this change in heart and mind.
James 4 (World English Bible)
13 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow let’s go into this city, and spend a year there, trade, and make a profit.” 14 Whereas you don’t know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapor, that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away. 15 For you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that.” (emphasis added) 16 But now you glory in your boasting. All such boasting is evil. 17 To him therefore who knows to do good, and doesn’t do it, to him it is sin.
Acts 21 (WEB)
We entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, who was one of the seven, and stayed with him. 9 Now this man had four virgin daughters who prophesied. 10 As we stayed there some days, a certain prophet named Agabus came down from Judea. 11 Coming to us, and taking Paul’s belt, he bound his own feet and hands, and said, “Thus says the Holy Spirit: ‘So will the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man who owns this belt, and will deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.’”
12 When we heard these things, both we and they of that place begged him not to go up to Jerusalem. 13 Then Paul answered, “What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”
14 When he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, “The Lord’s will be done.” (emphasis added)

Romans 8 (WEB)
28 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. (emphasis added)
In truth, it does not matter whether something is hard or easy. If God wills something to be done, it will be done. If there are problems along the way, so what? They only serve to develop your character! The correct way to live is to submit your entire life to God, do what you can and leave the rest up to the almighty. Think of all the worry you will avoid by living this way; all the disappointment, all the heartache!!!
Wake up each day with an attitude of heart that is focused on pleasing God and the world with all of its problems may not change, BUT YOU WILL!!!
As for me, I will endeavor to wake up each day with a prayer on my lips- LORD, make me an instrument of thy will!!!
Simplifies things!!!!
