I KNOW WHO JESUS IS  by steve finnell

If you know Jesus is that enough to acquired salvation? If you acknowledge that Jesus is the Son of God does mean you are saved? If you believe in Jesus but will not publicly confess Him, will that saved you? Does simply believing in Jesus make you a child of God washed in the blood of Jesus?

Luke 4:41 And demons also came out of many crying out and saying, "You are the Christ, the Son of God!" And He, rebuking them, did allow them to speak, for they knew that He was the Christ.(NKJV)

Simply knowing who Jesus is cannot save anyone.

John 12:42 Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they did confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue;(NKJV)

Simply believing in Jesus cannot save anyone.

What are the New Covenant terms for pardon? How can you become saved? When are you added to the Lord's church?

1. John 3:18 "He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.(NKJV)

2. Mark 16:16 "He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. (NKJV)

3. Acts 2:38 And Peter replied, "Each one of you must turn from sin, return to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; then you shall receive this gift, the Holy Spirit.(The Living Bible- Paraphrased)

4. Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.(NKJV)  

You must. Believe. Repent. Be immersed in water. and Confess in order to be saved and in order to be added to the body of Christ and in order to have sins forgiven and in order to become a Christian and in order to become born again.

You cannot believe only and be saved.
You cannot repent only and be saved.
You cannot be baptized only and be saved.
You cannot confess only and be saved.
The Bible makes clear the requirements for salvation. All of the above.

Galatians 1:8 Let God's curses fall on anyone , including myself, who preaches any other way to be saved than the one we told you about; yes, if angel comes from heaven and preaches any other message, let him be forever cursed. (The Living Bible-Paraphrased)

No man is saved before they are immersed in water.
